Rue du Gardon is a major entrance road into the town of Pierrelatte, serving the industrial and craft activity zones and providing a gateway to the town center.
The town council has launched a program to redevelop this thoroughfare, with the aim of making the town center more attractive.
Philippe Gonnet, landscape architect and designer, designed the landscape and lighting scheme. Some thirty 6m and 8m high masts, single and double-spoke, were installed on the site.

I wanted to integrate the surrounding countryside into this sparsely vegetated area.
This includes the “country” installation of Mediterranean plants, as well as the installation of the StiCkS lighting column, which I designed using branches as inspiration.
Graphically, its line is simple but rich, particularly in the single-strut version where the knot and branch start are maintained.
To further reinforce its plant-like appearance, the lower part of the mast has been sublimated with wood printing.
