Conimast, a company that cares about the environment, is pursuing its proposals for an ever more ecologically responsible economy:
– After replacing the foam profile used to protect the soles on 95% of its production runs with a special, more expensive but recyclable cardboard box.
– Over the next few months, we plan to replace polyester fabric packaging with an equally high-performance product that is 100% compostable and recyclable (except for special packaging for export).

In the same spirit, and in order to reduce the environmental impact of our products’ life cycle, we offer to take back end-of-life masts from your depots.
The concept is to organize, on the return of our delivery rounds, the removal, by appointment, of the old masts cluttering up your yards, and to let you benefit from the recycling of our production steel waste (peeling edges, setting masts, manufacturing scraps).
This only applies to dismantled steel masts.
Luminaires, casings and cables must be removed.
Loading and removal will be carried out by our 25-tonne crane trucks.
A document authorizing destruction will be sent to you with confirmation of the appointment.
On receipt at our premises, a weighing slip will be issued and we will indicate the value of the invoice that you will have to issue for 50% of the recycling value.
The price of scrap metal varies monthly.
As an indication, in April 2023, it was €233 (excl. VAT) per tonne.
This price is revised every month, based on the index of item Q0623 – E1 – scrap metal collection, published by Usine Nouvelle for the North-East and Ile-de-France regions.
We ensure short-cycle recycling of these products.
After being cut into 0.5-meter sections, they are transported to a company close to our Saint-Florentin site, where they are transformed and given a new life.

1. Anti-pollution stations and water treatment
Our galvanizing plants are equipped with advanced water treatment technologies and anti-pollution systems to ensure a reduced environmental footprint.
2. Fume extraction units
Each galvanizing unit is equipped with high-performance extraction units, ensuring effective capture of the fumes emitted during the process.
3. Zinc dust extraction
The sanding areas are equipped with specially designed extraction systems to eliminate zinc dust, ensuring a cleaner and safer working environment.
